Every Friday night, any outstanding updates for your WordPress website’s theme, plugins, and the WordPress’ core, will be updated. Before those updates run, a full backup will be taken of your website. Once the updates are complete, automated visual checks will be run to make sure that everything looks as it should.

If an update does cause an issue on your website, we will be notified immediately, and resolve the issue.

For Huckleberry’s Berry Basic Plus maintenance customers, there is an additional on-host backup routine in place which makes restoring a website as easy as clicking a button.

All maintenance customers have access to one full year’s worth of daily backups, providing us the ability to restore a website to virtually any past date needed.

WordPress websites on any of our maintenance plans are monitored round the clock for uptime. If your website goes offline for any reason, Huckleberry Branding is notified immediately, and we immediately get to work on getting your site back up and running.

Most of the time, the procedure for mitigating website outages involves restoring from backup to get the site up and running as soon as possible. Then, we’ll replicate the issue on a staging website, figure out the cause of the problem, as well as the solution, that we then implement on the production website.

Our real-time website security monitoring, and active firewall protection, means our platform is virtually bullet-proof. Theoretically, your WordPress doesn’t even need a security plugin if it’s on our maintenance plan — though it doesn’t hurt to have one!

Any way you slice that cake, 90% of websites out there use no more than about five gigabytes of bandwidth per month. Our 100 gigabyte allowance means there are virtually no caps for our customers, and, in the event of a bandwidth spike, our platform will scale up your cap on-the-fly so visitors to your website won’t notice a thing.
• Free SSL certificates — You not sure what SSL certificates are, but Google says you have to have one. And, you can pay $100 per year for one, but why? We’ll give them to you for free with your Berry Basic Plus plan, and it will auto-renew so you never have to think about it again.
